Precise Flight Inc. of Bend, Oregon has just announced a special offer on their Cirrus integrated oxygen systems. From now until October, the company is significantly lowering the price of its integrated oxygen systems for any Cirrus SR22 owners desiring an upgrade. Cirrus pilots who wish to replace their current oxygen systems will be outfitted with a Precise Flight integrated oxygen system identical to what would have been installed at the factory. As Cirrus' current supplier of flap switches and environmental controls, Precise Flight already has the capability to make factory-grade improvements to Cirrus planes. Available for installation on the SR22 G2 and G3, Precise Flight's oxygen system offers greater capacity and ease of refill. Instead of a regular 22 ft3 portable oxygen cylinder, a 77 ft3 oxygen cylinder is installed in the tail of the plane, tripling the number of flight hours between refills. Once empty, a refill port is located right inside the baggage door. A mere loosening of the screw on the dust cover reveals a pressure gauge and refill port—much easier than dragging an oxygen cylinder around for refills. Able to provide oxygen for a Cirrus pilot and up to three passengers, Precise Flight's modernized oxygen system will provide the Cirrus SR22 with the latest oxygen technology available on the market.
