Because of the Bonanza's speed, I don't want to descend too fast and shock cool my expensive IO-520 engine. I've seen too many engines with burnt cylinders and don't want to join that club. These brakes can safely drop me out of the sky at 1400 fpm and 160 mph without causing engine problems.
